1. I swore I would never eat anything sweet again after losing a lot of weight.
2. I swore I would never be anything like my father and now I'm just as stubborn as he is
3. Have a tattoo
4. I would never stop writing and I haven't

| Would you rather? |
[Thursday
January 29th, 2009 at 5:46pm] |
Anyone up for a round of 'Would You Rather?" It can be as goofy, or as serious as you want. I ask a question and you answer, then you ask a question.
I'll start. Would you rather be stranded with your worst enemy, or be deaf and stranded with your best friend?

Ugh. Family reunions suck. I get awkwardly placed with 25 other strangers who only come because we share the same blood. It is alwways happy fun time. Just put me out of my misery.

After I got through with practical jokes, I would sneak into the observatory at the college campus and enjoy the night sky for a little while.

1. Create a do over button
2. It would rain three meals a day just like in the book 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs', then there would be no more hunger.
3. No more cars, just teleporters

How lovely is Your dwelling place Oh Lord Almighty, For my soul longs And even faints For You Oh, here my heart Is satisfied (is satisfied) Within Your presence I sing beneath The shadow of Your wings
Better is one day in Your courts Better is one day in Your house Better is one day in Your courts Than thousands elsewhere Better is one day in Your courts Better is one day in Your house Better is one day in Your courts Than thousands elsewhere (Than thousands elsewhere)
One thing I ask, And I would seek, To see Your beauty To find You in The place Your glory dwells (One thing I ask) One thing I ask And I would seek, To see Your beauty To find You in The place Your glory dwells
Better is one day in Your courts Better is one day in Your house Better is one day in Your courts Than thousands elsewhere Better is one day in Your courts Better is one day in Your house Better is one day in Your courts Than thousands elsewhere (Better is one day) Better is one day in Your courts Better is one day in Your house Better is one day in Your courts Than thousands elsewhere Better is one day in Your courts Better is one day in Your house Better is one day in Your courts Than thousands elsewhere
(My heart and flesh cry out) My heart and flesh cry out For You, the Living God Your Spirit's water for my soul I've tasted, and I've seen Come once again to me I will draw near to You I will draw near to You To You
Better is one day Better is one day Better is one day Than thousands elsewhere (2x) Better is one day in Your courts Better is one day in Your house Better is one day in Your courts Than thousands elsewhere (4X) Yeah, than thousands elsewhere (Yeah) Oh, than thousands elsewhere

| If we throw away pennies... |
[Wednesday
April 9th, 2008 at 11:49pm] |
Stephen Colbert got me thinking... why keep pennies? I've come to the conclusion, that yes... we should keep them. Why? Think about the economy and everything that would have to change. Sales prices, gas prices... everything would have to change to something divisible by five (i.e. the nickel). Does this mean that prices would go up, or go down? How would that effect inflation and minimum wage?
And yes. I have nothing better to do with my time.

| Hair ideas... |
[Tuesday

|
I'm posting this here because many of you pin your hair up. I'm tired of throwing my hair into a ponytail when I'm working with the wee ones, but if I wear it down, I run the risk of getting slobber and other bodily fluids in it from holding the babies/crying children. What are some other ways that would be good to wear it, or perhaps head coverings to hold it back?

Into the Ocean- Blue October |
] |
I've had one of those weeks. First I did not ring up a customer at work. Another employee, Elizabeth, and myself were standing there and we were talking to her about something. She gathered her food and went to eat it. Five minutes later, Elizabeth notices that we had her total on the screen, but we failed to ring her up. Luckily she was eating in the restaurant, so we cleared that up. She was not trying to steal because she comes in there all the time and like us, was completely distracted as well. Yesterday, I was so sure that I had the right password when logging on to check my bank account and I even changed it to that password. It just hit me that I was typing in the wrong password today.
Classes officially start tomorrow. I am taking a psychology class online, so I've had the luxury of starting that early.

One of the escalators had stopped working at the mall, so instead of using it like a staircase, they put gates on both sides with an 'out of order' sign and cops to guard it and rerouted 'traffic' to the nearest elevator.
